Petrofed welcomed the Hon'ble Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas; Shri Dinsha J. Patel on his assuming office on 3 rd February, 2006 when Director General, PetroFed, Shri A.K. Arora presented a bonquet of flowers and several publications produced by PetroFed to him. Shri Arora was accompanied by Shri S.L. Das, Director(BD&C), Shri Y. Sahai, Director(Comm. & Mktg.) and Shri O.P. Thukral, Joint Director(Planning), Petrofed.

Shri Dinsha J. Patel was elected for the fourth term to the 14 th Lok Sabha in 2004. He was earlier a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from 1975-96. He has been a member of the Committee on Railways, Committee on Commerce, Committee on External Affairs, Consultative Committees of the Ministries of Heavy Industry, Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
