The role of Innovations and Feedstock Availability in the Petrochemcial Industry was brilliantly brought out by Shri Bipin Vora, Consultant & Retd. UOP Fellow, UOP LLC during a lecture organised by PetroFed in association with Lovraj Kumar Memorial Trust(LKMT) at the IndianOil Institute of Petroleum Management (IIPM), Gurgaon on March 6, 2008.
Beginning with the basic starting raw materials, Sh. Vora dwelt upon the technology innovations or lower cost raw material which have shaped the industry. He went on to make some predictions for the future.
Sh. Vora has been Senior Corporate Fellow in Process Technology Department at UOP, a highest technical ladder position, and holds over 200 US and international patents and over 120 publications in various technical and trade journals.
The keen interest in the lecture was demonstrated by the extended Q&A session.
