" Energy Think Tank witnesses Reliance presentation on Customer Assurance " |
The Energy Think Tank, chaired by former Secretary, MoP&NG, Sh. T.N.R. Rao witnessed on April 8, 2006 at PetroFed office, a presentation by Reliance Industries Ltd. on their customer assurance in petroleum retail marketing. The presentation was made by Shri P. Raghavendran, President (Refinery Business), RIL & Vice Chairman, PetroFed. He was assisted by Sh. Ashok Dhar, Vice President, Sh. Vivek Srivastava, Asst. Vice President and Sh. Vijay Pahwa, Sr. Vice President (Business Development).
Energy Think Tank Convenor Sh. J.S. Oberoi welcomed the members and the ETT Chairman Sh. T.N.R. Rao, in his opening remarks stressed on the importance of correct quality & quantity in petroleum retail marketing.
The Reliance presentation brought out the relevance of leveraging technology in building customer confidence at its retail outlets. It brought out their perspective on automation, its centralized monitoring, the challenges in implementation and the manner in which they want to sustain the same. The presentation also brought out the other retail offerings of RIL to secure loyalty of truck drivers & fleet operators.
The large number of questions raised demonstrated the keen interest evinced by ETT members in the presentation.
