Roundtable on Project Management

To seek inputs for organising an effective national conference on Project Management for the oil & gas sector a roundtable was organised by PetroFed and the Project Management Institute (PMI) at New Delhi on October 13, 2009.

Chaired by Mr. Mukesh Rohatgi, former CMD, EIL the roundtable was attended by senior project management experts from various segments to enable draw-up an effective programme for the first national conference on Project Management exclusively for the oil & gas industry.  The tone was set by Mr. Mukesh Rohatgi in his opening remarks.  A proposed draft programme was presented by Mr. Raj Kalady, Managing Director, PMI.

The session was very fruitful and facilitated drawing-up of a detailed final programme which would benefit participants.  Eminent speakers of repute were selected for various sessions to provide inputs.

The final programme on “Optimising Organisational Performance: Harnessing the Value of Project Management” will be organised by PMI in association with PetroFed on December 8, 2009 at Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi.  It will be announced after confirmation of speakers.
