" ONGC interaction on issues related to E&P Licencing Policy " |
PetroFed organised an Industry – ONGC interaction on issues arising out of its Paper on E&P Licencing Policy at New Delhi on October 17, 2005 at New Delhi . PetroFed's Paper had been submitted to the MoP&NG and formally presented to the Hon'ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas on September 19, 2005 .
Chairing the session, Sh. Subir Raha, CMD, ONGC thanked PetroFed for organizing the meeting so that inter-company issues could be harmonized for healthy and speedier development of the national E&P sector in a competitive manner. He expressed his confidence that the petroleum sector would grow from strength to strength.
A brief presentation was made by Sh. Deepak Mahurkar of PricewaterhouseCoopers listing developments from the CEOs conclave held on July 7, 2005 to the submission of paper on E&P Licencing Policy to MoP&NG on September 19, 2005 .
The floor was thereafter open for discussions wherein CMD, ONGC and other functional Directors of ONGC addressed various issues raised by industry members on discovered marginal fields, service sector concerns, training facilities, data sharing etc.
Sh. Y.Sahai, D(C&M) PetroFed extended a warm welcome to all participants and invitees.
Sh. Subir Raha, CMD, ONGC was earlier welcomed by DG, PetroFed, Sh. A.K. Arora who also proposed a vote of thanks and appreciated the participation of industry members and other invitees in large numbers and for enriching the dialogue.
