"Review on E&P Licensing Policy " |
On the 19 th September 2005 , Petroleum Federation of India together with it's knowledge partner PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) presented a Paper on “Review of E&P Licensing Policy” to Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar, the Hon'ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Panchyati Raj in a well attended function organised by PetroFed at New Delhi . Shri S. C. Tripathi, Secretary Petroleum & Natural Gas, Shri M.S. Srinivasan .
Special Secretary, Shri Sunjoy Joshi, Joint Secretary, Shri V. K. Sibal, Director General, DGH were present on the occasion.
Shri Deepak Mahurkar, Senior Consultant, PwC presented details including the recommendations included in the Paper. CEOs, Directors, senior executives, experts associated with the E&P sector from private and public sector companies participated in the deliberations, in addition to a lively participation by the media who were present in large number.
The Hon'ble Minister chaired the discussion session in which he initiated debate on various issues in which E&P companies, DGH, PwC and experts present on the occasion participated actively.
The Minister thanked PetroFed for the work undertaken and described it as the starting point for review of policy by MoPNG for the next round of NELP.
