In its continuing series of Guest Lectures and Thought Leadership Programmes, PetroFed organised a Lecture on ‘Leveraging upon (ICT) Information Communication Technology and enterprise legacy systems to deliver Improved Operating efficiencies in Customer Management’ at the PetroFed Conference Hall on November 23, 2007. The speaker was Shri Gopalakrishna Janardan, Sales Manger (India Sub-continent), SAP India Pvt. Limited.
Chairing the session, Shri S S Soni, Executive Director, IT, IndianOil highlighted the increasing role which can be played by Information Communication Technology in providing value added solutions for achieving customer satisfaction.
Shri Janardan, who leads the SAP CRM sales, very succinctly brought out today’s various challenges and business drivers and the need for major brands to differentiate for maintaining leadership. He explained how ICT can help enhance CRM and provide end to end solutions besides efficiencies in Operations, integrate market demands to enterprise systems and assess customer affinity to brands.
The lecture was widely appreciated by senior executives from the disciplines of Marketing & Information Technology.
