As a follow-up of an earlier guest lecture at PetroFed on ‘Evolution of Composite Repairs for Pipelines’, M/s. CrossLinks Composites, LLC, USA demonstrated actual repairs of pipelines at two locations in India. A post demonstration guest lecture was organised on June 25, 2008 at PetroFed Conference Hall, which was addressed by Mr. Matt Lewis, President, CrossLinks Composites. The occasion was utilised to bring to the participants a new technology for online valve installation for leaking water pipelines through a presentation by Mr. Henry Topf, President, Advanced Valve Technologies. The session was chaired by Shri A.K. Guha, ED (BD), IOCL.
