Orbit Shifting Innovation

A new insight into the strategic, organisational & leadership dimensions of innovation was provided by Mr. Rajiv Narang, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, Erehwon Innovation Consulting to an invited audience on July 28, 2011 at New Delhi.  Organised under PetroFed’s series of Guest Lectures and Thought Leadership Programmes, the lecture demonstrated how mental models can lock an organization into an orbit, blocking further innovation.

Chairing the session, Dr. B. Mohanty, Director, PPAC elucidated on the role of innovation.  India had, this year, ushered in the ‘decade of innovation’ he added.

Mr. Rajiv Narang founded Erehwon in 1989 and has since led it to become the world’s & India’s leading innovation consulting firm. He was part of the Planning Commission panel to recommend ‘India’s Innovation Strategy’ and a member of the ‘Innovation for India’ Foundation.

The lecture generated a lot of interest among participants which was demonstrated during the extended floor participation.
