Energy from Fossils to Solar

The imperative need for developing alternative energy sources before the current fossil-based energy is depleted was highlighted by Dr. M.O. Garg, Director, Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun during his lecture to a select audience on July 29, 2011 at New Delhi.  Organised under PetroFed’s series of Guest Lectures and Thought Leadership Programmes, the lecture succinctly brought out the potential inherent in unconventional fossils, nuclear and renewables.

Chairing the session Mr. C. Ratnam, former CMD, Oil India Ltd. & Member, Energy Think Tank dwelt on the changing imperatives for a sustainable energy future.

The lecture, packed with concrete information and data, was widely appreciated.
