" Industry interaction on functioning of OIDB " |
Having learnt that the Oil Industry Development Board (OIDB) was carrying out a review of its functioning through M/s A.F. Ferguson & Company, PetroFed facilitated an industry interaction to obtain the views of stakeholders on the future role and functioning of OIDB. At the meeting of member companies on April 7, 2006 at PetroFed office the expectations of stakeholders from OIDB and their suggestions for the future were articulated before representatives of M/s A.F. Ferguson & Company.
Senior industry members present on the occasion spelt out their expectations largely dwelling on the fact that the Board should function for the oil industry and its development and that all funds accruing to it should be utilized for this purpose for which necessary changes should be made for OIDB to function as an impartial Board.
It was pointed out that the report before finalization should once again be discussed with industry members.
