25th Governing Council Meeting

Mr. R.S. Butola was unanimously elected Chairman, PetroFed at the 25th meeting of the Governing Council on May 6, 2011 consequent to the resignation of Mr. Sarthak Behuria in view of his other commitments. The Governing Council placed on record its unanimous appreciation for the strides made by PetroFed during the leadership of Mr. Sarthak Behuria.   Mr. Butola’s term would be concurrent to the term of the Governing Council ending in October 2012.  He would be eligible for re-election.

Mr. Behuria would continue to be a member of the Governing Council.  Mr. P.N. Baruah, Group General Manager (E&D), OIL was also welcomed as member of the Governing Council consequent to the superannuation of Mr. N. Bhalla, Executive Director (Corporate Affairs) whose contribution as a member of the Governing Council was appreciated.  Similarly the contribution made by Mr. S.V. Narasimhan, Director (Finance), IndianOil was also placed on record. 

The Governing Council welcomed KPMG and LanzaTech-NZ Limited as members of the Federation.

The Governing Council discussed modalities for the PetroFed Awards function and expressed its appreciation for the activities undertaken and planned.
