PetroFed Welcomes New Minister |
Sh. S. Behuria, Chairman , PetroFed and Chairman, IndianOil, alongwith Shri. A.K. Arora, Director General , PetroFed and Shri. S L Das, Director (BD&C) welcomed the new Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri. Murli Deora on his taking charge on January 30, 2006.
Born on 10th January, 1937 at Mumbai, Shri. Deora has the distinction of getting elected to the Lok Shabha four times (1985-89 Member, Eighth Lok Shabha, 1989-91 Member, Ninth Lok Shabha,1991-96 Member, Tenth Lok Sabha , 1998-99 Member Twelfth Lok Shabha). He has held several other important positions including, Chairman of Standing Committee of Finance, Member of Legislative Council of Maharashtra, Mayor of Mumbai and a Councillor of the Muncipal Corporation of Mumbai.
